The Role
As a Social Media Manager, you will be at the forefront of how we communicate with our customers through various social media platforms. You will manage brand presence, develop and implement social strategies while also engaging with our community to increase brand loyalty and enhance our customer relationship.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with Amazon's brand objectives.
- Manage and oversee social media content across all platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.
- Create engaging and visually appealing content tailored to our target audience.
- Monitor social media trends and keep up-to-date with the latest tools, trends, and technologies in the digital marketing space.
- Utilize analytics tools to track performance metrics, assess success of campaigns, and formulate data-driven decisions to improve future strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PR, product marketing, and creative services to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Engage with customers in meaningful ways through genuine interactions and timely responses to inquiries.
- Facilitate online campaigns, contests, and promotions that drive social engagement and community participation.
- Track and report performance data, insights, and analytics for each campaign on a regular basis to the senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Strong familiarity with various social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and the knowledge of how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative mindset and strong attention to detail.
- An analytical thinker, able to use data to drive decisions and prove ROI.
- Experience in developing brand engagement strategies and strong knowledge of SEO, social media algorithms, and current trends.
- Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
